RESCINDED/CANCELED BOIL WATER NOTICE FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

All of Hammock Trace, to include all of the following areas: Hermosa Circle, Encina Way, Floresta Circle, Saint Mary's Bay Drive, Terra Sombra Court, Esperanza Drive, Comares Ave, and all of Moonraker Drive.

PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

TO: CUSTOMERS OF THE BAGDAD GARCON POINT WATER SYSTEM FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

STARTING AT: 6300 TO INCLUDE ALL OF HAMMOCK TRACE, 1700 TO 1716 HERMOSA CIRCLE, 1701 TO 1717 ENCINA WAY, 1701 TO 1717 FLORESTA CIRCLE, ALL OF SAINT MARY'S BAY DRIVE, AND ALL OF TERRA SOMBRA COURT, AND ALL OF ESPERANZA DRIVE, INCLUDING: ALL OF COMARES AVE AND ALL OF MOONRAKER DRIVE.

A MAIN BREAK HAS OCCURRED AND/OR A LOSS OF PRESSURE HAS BEEN EXPERIENCED.

THEREFORE, AS A PRECAUTION, WE ADVISE THAT ALL WATER USED FOR DRINKING, COOKING, MAKING ICE, BRUSHING TEETH, OR WASHING DISHES BE BOILED. A ROLLING BOIL OF ONE MINUTE IS SUFFICIENT.
AS AN ALTERNATIVE BOTTLED WATER MAY BE USED.
THIS "PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE" WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN CORRECTED AND A BACTERIOLOGICAL SURVEY SHOWS THAT THE WATER IS SAFE TO DRINK.

BOIL WATER NOTICE HAS BEEN ISSUED ON TUESDAY, 12/02/2025. FOR 6700 OLD BAGDAD HWY TO 6865 OLD BAGDAD HWY TO INCLUDE: NORTH NEW STREET AND 6841 ALLEN STREET.

PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE:

  1. Any customer experiencing low water pressure or no water should boil their water as a precaution.
  2. When water is restored, we ask as a precaution that you boil any water you use to drink, and prepare food with. To assure the water is safe to drink, water samples for two consecutive days will be taken and tested to be sure the lines are clear from any bacteria.
  3. This precautionary boil water notice is for the customers living in these areas Only. No other customers of Bagdad-Garcon Point Water System, Inc are affected.
  4. Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled.
  5. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used. You may draw water in a one gallon clean container and add 10 drops of unscented bleach to the water, shake the container after the top has been replaced. Remove the cap and let the water stand for 30 minutes.
  6. This “Precautionary Boil Water notice” will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
  7. To run the tests and get the results back may take from two days to a week, depending on which day the leak occurred.

 

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this causes you and your family. Our primary concern is to assure you that the water we provide to you is safe. Just as soon as we receive information from the lab confirming the water samples are clear, we will advise you.
